1. Data controller
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by AREM ("we") as the data controller, within the scope described below. This notice covers the showcase website at aremtree.com; projects on subdomains may have their own privacy notices. The Turkish version of this notice is the governing text.
2. Personal data we process
When you use the contact form: your name, email address, and the subject and content of your message.
When you visit the site: anonymous usage statistics such as which pages are viewed, approximate location (country), and device and browser type. These statistics are collected without cookies and do not identify you personally.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Contact form data is processed solely to reply to your message and evaluate your request. The legal grounds are KVKK Art. 5/2-c (directly related to the establishment of a contract) and Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest).
Usage statistics are processed to measure and improve the site's performance, under KVKK Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest).
4. Transfers, including transfers abroad
Your personal data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Because the site and its services are provided through the following service providers, your data may be processed on their servers abroad (mainly in the US and the EU): Formspree (delivering contact form messages), Vercel (hosting the site and anonymous usage statistics), Cloudflare (domain and DNS services). These transfers are carried out in accordance with KVKK Art. 9.
5. Collection method and retention period
Data is collected electronically, by automatic or partially automatic means, when you fill in the contact form and visit the site.
Contact form messages are kept for at most 2 years after your request is concluded and are then deleted. Anonymous usage statistics are kept for the service provider's retention period.
6. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction under KVKK Art. 7; to request that these actions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
7. How to apply
You can submit requests regarding your rights by emailing info@aremtree.com. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
